Why They Want to Substitute Teach

I am interested in becoming a substitute because I enjoy working with children and being able to make a positive impact in their school environment. My experience as a Teacher’s Aide, Lunch Aide, and Class Chaperone has given me the opportunity to work closely with students, support teachers, and help create a safe and positive learning environment. I enjoy building relationships with students, assisting them with their needs, and helping classrooms continue to run smoothly. I believe becoming a substitute would allow me to use my experience while gaining additional knowledge of different classrooms, teaching styles, and school environments.

About Them

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling and exploring new places, trying new restaurants and recipes, attending community events, and staying active. I also enjoy creative activities and finding new hobbies to learn and explore. I’m naturally curious and enjoy experiences that allow me to meet new people, learn something new, and have fun.

Experience with Children

I volunteered at elementary schools as a chaperon, lunch aide, and class aide for 2 years. I supervise students during lunch, transitions, field trips, and school activities, monitor behavior, assist with resolving minor conflicts, and ensure students follow school rules and safety procedures. I also help prepare classroom materials, organize supplies, and provide general support to teachers and school staff.
