Why They Want to Substitute Teach

I want to make a positive impact on students lives and enjoy learning in new environments. If I can help a student learn or enjoy something new, I feel like I've accomplished a goal. I want to be the one that students feel supported by and comfortable coming to talk to.

About Them

I love hockey, I spent three years as a volunteer leading analytics for the Boston Pride, a professional women's hockey team. I saw first-hand girls and boys inspired by the sport and athletes and that motivated me to keep supporting those memorable experiences. I also enjoy art; I'm a member at the Art Institute, I've trained with The Second City and love exploring new museums. I believe unlocking creativity, in any medium, is a large part of what helps students become more confident in all aspects of their development.
