Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I enjoy working with children and supporting their learning, growth and confidence in the classroom. Substitute teaching gives me the opportunity to gain experience across different grade levels, learn from a variety of classroom environments, and provide students with a safe, supportive and positive school day!
About Them
I am dependable, patient, caring and adaptable. I have a background in psychology and criminal justice, and plenty of experience working with children through babysitting, behavior therapy and elementary school settings. I enjoy helping children feel comfortable, supported and successful, and I value creating a positive and respectful environment.
Experience with Children
I have several years of childcare experience, including babysitting for multiple families since age 16. I also work as a Behavior Technician, supporting children with varying needs, and I currently work in an elementary school setting with Pre-K through 4th grade students. I am comfortable supervising children, following routines, helping with transitions, providing behavioral support, and creating a safe, engaging environment.
