Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I’m taking a break from teaching full-time, but I still really enjoy being in the classroom and working with kids. Substitute teaching gives me the chance to stay connected to students and schools while having more flexibility.
About Them
I love being outdoors, gardening, hiking, biking, and exploring nature. I also love thrifting, traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with the people I love. I’m naturally curious and open-minded, and I really value kindness and empathy.
Experience with Children
I’ve worked with children and teens for about 9 years as a science teacher. I love getting to know kids and their different personalities and creating an environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.
