Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I am passionate about teaching and making a positive difference in the lives of children. I am retired from teaching, but want to continue working with children in the classroom. I have valuable experience that helps me feel capable of being a vety good substitute. Being in the classroom brings me joy.
About Them
I come from a long line of teachers. I love learning new things, reading, cooking, spending time outdoors and using my talents to make others happy. I believe in helping children see their worth and reach their potential.
Experience with Children
I have a current Utah teacher’s license. I retired in May 2026 from Alpine School District. I have been licensed and taught in three states. (California, Minnesota & Utah). I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade. I have subbed in grades K - 12. I have tutored individual children. I am a mother of seven and grandmother of twenty-one. My granddaughter attends Mountain Sunrise Academy. I have been impressed with her education at Mountain Sunrise Academy. I would be honored to be a substitute there.
