Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I want to be a substitute teacher because God has made it clear to me my place is full time student ministry and through roster and affirmation he has pointed me to the classrooms of our children. I want to be able to steward the younger generation, love them, teach them, and exemplify Christ to all especially those that may not have that example in their lives elsewhere.
About Them
I have been married for 8 years. We have a 5 year old and 3 year old so most of my hobbies are whatever they are into at the time. I do love to golf when I have time. As a family we spend a lot of time at our church and partnering events. We love going to the pool and the Beach together. Sports have been my number one extracurricular passion since I could throw a ball. If I’m not playing I’m watching. Was born in Tennessee so all my favorite sports teams are up there too.
Experience with Children
I have been serving with students and children in church since I was in high school. I have worked in after school care and at summer camps for a combined total of 5 years. I am a current substitute teacher in St John’s County Florida.
