Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I am passionate about teaching but need to have a flexible schedule for performance gigs. I like the flexibility of substitute teaching and the classroom experience while still having time to pursue other goals
About Them
I am a classical double bass player in Oregon. I play with the Rogue Valley Symphony, Eugene symphony, Eugene Ballet, and have also played with the opera and choir. Music is my passion. I also am an avid climber, I have summited around half of the major pacific northwest peaks and hope to climb them all before I turn 30.
Experience with Children
I did two terms of part-time student teaching and then a term of full-time student teaching. I teach beginning strings to elementary age children after school.
