Why They Want to Substitute Teach

I want to be a substitute teacher because I enjoy working with students and helping create a positive learning environment. From my previous experience as a substitute teacher, I learned how important it is to be patient, adaptable, and dependable in the classroom. I enjoy being able to support students, keep them engaged with their assignments, and provide consistency when their regular teacher is unavailable. I also value the opportunity to make a positive impact on students while continuing to strengthen my communication and leadership skills.

About Them

I would describe myself as outgoing, dependable, creative, and motivated. I enjoy sports, fitness, music, gaming, and working on creative business and marketing projects. I also enjoy learning new skills, meeting new people, and finding ways to improve both personally and professionally. I believe in treating people with respect, staying open-minded, and trying to understand different perspectives. I value hard work, accountability, communication, and creating a positive environment for the people around me. I also enjoy being involved in my community and using my experiences to encourage and support others.

Experience with Children

Teacher assistant Teacher Coaching

I have experience working with children through my role as a Substitute Teacher with Flexible Staffing, where I worked with students across different grade levels and classroom environments. My responsibilities included maintaining a safe and structured classroom, following lesson plans, assisting students with assignments, managing classroom behavior, and adapting my communication style to meet different learning needs. That experience strengthened my patience, communication, problem-solving, and ability to build positive relationships with children. I understand the importance of creating an environment where children feel respected, supported, and encouraged while still maintaining clear expectations and boundaries.
