Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I am passionate about education and making an impact in young students' lives. I want to help students enjoy learning and look forward to coming to school. Furthermore, I think getting substitute teaching experience will prepare me for my future career as an elementary teacher.
About Them
I love being with family and friends; family is my priority! I also love my three dogs very much. I love to clean and organize things; I have a side job cleaning Airbnbs on the weekends. If I am not at school or work, you will find me with my fiancé, outside, or playing with my dogs, or all three at the same time! I believe education is such a crucial aspect in this world, and I am so joyful to be a part of it!
Experience with Children
I babysat full-time for two summers when I was 14 and 16. I also have many younger cousins; I grew up babysitting them. I have worked in my church's youth class monthly for 4 years. I have been a group leader at Vacation Bible School for 6 years. I have had 3 classroom experiences throughout college so far. I have also worked at a daycare for a year and a half now.
