Why They Want to Substitute Teach
As I have decided not to pursue my masters degree, I am looking into a way to gradually ease my way into the classroom as an educator. I believe that subbing is a great way for me to do so. I am open to become a long-term/full-time teacher if the opportunity presents itself and the time is right.
About Them
I spend most of my time with my dog, Boo. We enjoy going on walks, camping, and hiking throughout the state and country. I am a big fan of travel, and enjoy roadtrips through the western states. As I have grown up in the area (Frontenac), I find pleasure in simply sitting in my backyard and relaxing.
Experience with Children
I have a long history working with children from my highschool career until now, post college graduation. I spent time as a teachers assistant and tutored various students including working with ELL in the district. My education at the university included positions in elementary schools throughout the school year.
