Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I enjoy helping folks understand concepts by tailoring my help to their experiences and understanding.
About Them
I'm a research scientist by trade but I enjoy teaching the undergraduate volunteers that worked in my former lab as well as the tutoring I have down. I have done both stained glass and etched glass and I have in interest in lapidary. I am a homeowner who does a lot of my own DIY repairs for general stuff, such as drywall, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and the like.
Experience with Children
I have tutored high school and college students. I worked opening and closing shifts for a daycare when I was a stay-at-home dad. I worked as a camp counselor for 6th graders for a week when I was in high school.
