Why They Want to Substitute Teach

I want to be a substitute teacher because I enjoy working with children and making a positive difference in their education. I am especially interested in supporting students with different learning needs and creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment. My experience with Special Education has helped me develop patience, compassion, and an understanding of how important individualized support can be. I would love the opportunity to encourage students, help them stay engaged in learning, and support teachers and schools whenever needed.

I am a caring, patient, responsible, and dependable person who enjoys working with children and helping them succeed. I am a good listener and communicate well with students, teachers, and families. I am adaptable and able to work with children who have different learning styles and needs, including students in Special Education. I always try to create a positive, respectful, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable and encouraged to learn.

Experience with Children

I have experience working with children, including children with special education needs. I enjoy creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and comfortable. I am patient, compassionate, and attentive to each child’s individual needs and abilities. I enjoy helping children with daily activities, schoolwork, social skills, and age-appropriate activities while encouraging their independence and confidence. My experience with Special Education has taught me the importance of understanding each child’s unique needs and providing support in a positive and respectful way.
