Why They Want to Substitute Teach
As a medical student and future medical professional, I understand the ambition, discipline, and determination required to achieve competitive career goals. I'm also really passionate about teaching and mentorship and I hope to provide students the support and guidance that I felt was often lacking during my early academic years.
About Them
My hobbies include cooking, baking, and trying out new coffee recipes. I recently got a breville espresso machine so I'm enjoying playing barista at home. I also enjoy reading, doing pilates, going on walks and playing with my cat. I'm also really passionate about volunteer work and community engagement. I believe in respect and equity regardless of background, political view, socioeconomic status, and hope to carry these values in my career in medicine and teach students along the way.
Experience with Children
I have over 4 years of experience tutoring students from grade level pre-k to 12th on various subjects and test prep. I also have experience babysitting for friends and family for almost 10 years.
