Why They Want to Substitute Teach

I want to be a substitute because I enjoy working with children and being able to make a positive impact on their day. I have experience working with both elementary and middle school students, and I enjoy creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment. I also like the opportunity to work with different students, teachers, and grade levels while continuing to build my experience in education.

I would describe myself as outgoing, energetic, caring, and dependable. I enjoy meeting new people, working with children, and staying active. I have a background in cheerleading and tennis, which has taught me teamwork, leadership, discipline, and how to stay positive. I’m a quick learner, patient, and comfortable working with different personalities and age groups. I enjoy encouraging others and creating a positive environment wherever I am.

Experience with Children

8 years I have experience working with children in both elementary and middle school settings. I have supported students with their daily needs, provided guidance and encouragement, communicated with teachers and staff, and helped create a safe, positive, and structured environment. Working with different age groups has strengthened my patience, communication, organization, and ability to connect with children while meeting their individual needs.
