Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I want to be a substitute teacher because I enjoy working with children and creating a positive, supportive learning environment. My previous experience as a summer camp teacher and supervisor allowed me to work with children ages 4–12, lead activities, assist with assignments, and encourage positive behavior. I would love the opportunity to continue working with students, support their learning, and make a positive impact in the classroom.
About Them
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, including caring for and spending time with my nephews when my sister needs help. I also enjoy traveling, reading books, and experiencing new places and perspectives. I believe in treating others with kindness, respect, and understanding. I value learning, personal growth, and creating a positive environment where everyone feels supported and encouraged.
Experience with Children
Supervised and supported children ages 4–12 in a safe, positive, and engaging environment. Served as the primary teacher for children ages 5–6, leading daily educational and recreational activities, assisting with assignments, and encouraging positive behavior through rewards and recognition. Prepared and served breakfast and lunch while maintaining a structured, caring, and organized environment for all campers
