Why They Want to Substitute Teach
I really enjoy getting to connect with students and see how younger generations are processing the world around them. I also love my job as an ASL Interpreter and care about providing more seamless access between those with different needs and helping others feel more comfortable working with them as well.
About Them
I love to read, write, crochet, and care for my houseplants. I also love hiking, kayaking and camping.
Experience with Children
I was a baby sitter all throughout my teenage years and worked with children through service opportunities for years, k-12, as a camp counselor and youth group leader. For the last 5 years I have worked in public schools as an ASL Interpreter.
